I’ve done some research and it look like MBK use to be the go to for fakes in Bangkok, but doesn’t seem as much anymore. When we were in Chiang Mai, there were a ton of fake designer bags on the Night Bazzar night market and looking for something similar. UPDATE July 14th 2023: MBK is thriving.
There is a fab bag shop called Jinny's in Silom village, I was advised to shop there by a very friendly BA stewardess. Bags are around about 35 but the quality is excellent (I've used one daily for work for the last 2 years and it's going strong!).
