Solution: use Macrium Reflect bootable disc, go to restore > fix Windows Boot problem, it auto fix the boot manager. Remind next time after clone, boot the cloned disk alone without original source disk, connect after 1st boot.
A successful clone does NOT need all that fixing. No Recovery, DISM, chkdsk, etc, etc. It should run 100% by itself. If you return the system back to original config, does it work properly?

I had this issue as well when cloning a HDD to SSD, what I did to fix it was to create a bootable USB recovery drive (Microsoft have guides for how to do this), connect the SSD in the PC without the HDD and start up. Boot to the USB recovery drive and click the option to repair boot on the SSD.You will need to use your Windows installation DVD or Recovery USB or some third party utility to restore the bootloader. Bootrec is included with Windows, use fixboot and fixmbr commands. There are many pitfalls to disk cloning, but from my experience this is most likely the issue. Boot into Windows Installer.
